SPORTS: Team Liquid and Aurora Secure Upper Bracket Victories in MPL Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Team Liquid Philippines and Aurora are one match away from qualifying to the M7 World Championships as they bested ONIC Philippines and TNC Pro Team, respectively, in the upper bracket semifinals of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 16 Playoffs.
In the match of the world champions, dubbed “The Golden Rivalry”, Team Liquid Philippines swept ONIC Philippines, 3-0, to avenge all its losses against the Super Family during the regular season. From start to finish, the stampede was at full speed, leaving ONIC Philippines in the dust as Team Liquid relegated the second seed to the lower bracket.
On the other side of the bracket, Aurora and TNC went all the way to Game 5 as both teams were hungry to stay in the upper bracket. Read more…
